From November 1, the service of notifications about fines through the Post of Russia ceased its work. The service provided through zakaznoe.pochta.ru existed relatively long, since 2019. Until today, portal users could prefer electronic notifications about the fines of the classic paper coming in the mailbox.

The fundamental difference of the electronic mail service of Russia from similar was that the receiving notice of an administrative violation (in other words, a fine) was legally binding. From the moment the user opened a copy of the «letters of happiness» on the site, a 10-day countdown began, during which the ruling could be appealed. Service, as reported by Russian Post, more than 9 million people enjoyed. Not to say that this is a huge figure, but also the level of digitalization of the population and services in our country (I do not take Moscow) is still relatively low.

The reason for the closure of the service was the Decree of the Government No. 957 of September 1, 2021. According to him, all the notifications about fines, if the user wants such to receive electronic, should come through the official portal of the State Service.

You can summarize that, despite the change of the provider of the service, the end user (that is, we are with you) in any case only won. The most important innovation of the above-mentioned decree is that from now on, every car owner was able to protest the fine remotely. For the most respectable citizens we recall that earlier to appeal a fine, discharged in a simplified order (for example, from the camera), it was possible, only physically appealed to the traffic police department. Now it is possible to do this without leaving the house through the portal of the State Service. However, if you are not registered on «state services», the notice of the ruling will still come to you — through the same mail of Russia, the usual letter in the mailbox.
